Membership software for car clubs – FAQs
Answers to the questions car clubs, classic car clubs, marque and owners' clubs, motorcycle clubs and motorsport clubs ask most about RevUp Blaze.
About RevUp Blaze
What is RevUp Blaze?
RevUp Blaze is browser-based membership software for clubs. It brings a club's members, renewals and payments, local sections, vehicle registers, motorsport events and marshals together in one secure system.
What kind of car club is RevUp Blaze for?
Membership-based clubs: car clubs, classic car clubs, marque and owners' clubs, motorcycle clubs and motorsport clubs. It isn't designed for car-sharing or car-hire "car clubs".
Is it suitable for classic car and owners' clubs?
Yes. As well as membership and renewals, RevUp Blaze has vehicle registers for registrars, kept separately from membership records so each car's history and ownership stay with the club, and secure access for local sections and areas.
Does it handle motorsport events?
Yes. The motorsport module covers championships and series, online entries and payments, grids, reserves and waiting lists, online signing-on and marshals, for race and speed events including hill climbs and trials.
Who is behind RevUp Blaze?
RevUp Blaze is developed by Prosolve Software, an independent business based in Bedfordshire since 1984, which has been building membership systems with UK clubs since the first version of RevUp in 1989. More about us.
Switching and getting started
Can we move our existing members across?
Yes. We transfer your existing member data, whether it's in spreadsheets or another system, into RevUp Blaze.
Will you help us set it up?
Yes. We help you set RevUp Blaze up for the way your club works, such as your member types and local sections, and train your officers to use it.
Do we need to install anything?
No. RevUp Blaze runs in any modern web browser on laptops, tablets and phones, so officers can use it wherever they are.
How do we see it in action?
Request a demonstration and we'll show you RevUp Blaze using the areas that matter most to your club. You can also download our two-page flyer.
Using RevUp Blaze
Can members join and renew online?
Yes. Members can join, renew and pay online by credit card, or set up a Direct Debit online, and keep their own personal and vehicle details up to date through the members' area.
Can the office still take payments by phone or post?
Yes. Office staff can take mail order and telephone order (MOTO) card payments, alongside online payments and Direct Debit.
Can we still send printed cards and letters?
Yes. RevUp Blaze produces printed and digital membership cards, and welcome letters, renewal reminders and custom letters, with templates you can import from Word.
Can our local sections see their own members?
Yes. Members can be allocated to local sections automatically by postcode, and section officers get secure read-only or limited access to their own section's members, with their own summary reports.
Does it work with our website and other systems?
Yes. An Open API connects RevUp Blaze to your club's website, forums and partners, and it exports to Sage and other accounting programs and integrates with Mailchimp and MailerLite. See the full feature list.
Security and hosting
Where is our data kept?
RevUp Blaze is cloud-based and hosted in secure, UK-only data centres. No club data is stored on officers' own computers.
Is RevUp Blaze GDPR compliant?
Yes. Role-based security means each person sees only what their role needs, such as a section officer seeing only their own section's members.
How are logins protected?
Every user has their own login, with role-based permissions, audit trails and optional two-factor authentication using Microsoft or Google Authenticator.
Pricing and support
How much does it cost?
There are three editions, Core, Professional and Motorsport, and pricing is on request. We'll recommend the right edition for your club's size and activities. Compare the editions.
What support do you provide?
Technical support and advice come from the Prosolve team, who understand how clubs work. RevUp Blaze also keeps improving in response to what clubs need.
